100 - April Sunday 10, 1927

A cold rainy day. Did not go out. Busy preparing a snake talk which was delivered at the Natural History Society in the afternoon.

Garder showed me a young C.c. mormon taken in Mission Valley. Showed the body blotches very distinctly.

From the Zoo got an unusually large T.o. hammondii. Caught 4-10-27 at Chula Vista by Verne Mirrifield. Measured 37 1/8" long. Contained a large toad which measured 8" long. Snake was a female and contained many eggs.
